We recommend that you create a story plot first and then add it to your Plotagon scene. Plotagon provides a simple way of creating interesting animated movies. Each video has its own public URL so you can easily share your creation. Once we were satisfied, we clicked on “Publish and Share” button which publishes your video to the Plotagon community. We tested our creation by clicking the play button. We also added appropriate movement for our characters and sound effects that complemented the scene. We needed to click the dialog button whenever we wanted to add dialog for a different character. We selected the characters to say what was typed and their moods, whether they were afraid, angry, arrogant, excited, happy, neutral, proud, sad or surprised. We then selected the dialog tab and typed what we wanted our characters to say. We selected the appropriate scene for our movie, characters and their respective locations in the scene. The program’s user interface displayed tabs for creating scene, dialog, action, movement, sound and music. When we clicked on “New Movie”, Plotagon displayed an untitled window in thumbnail format, and we typed the title for our movie. There are many characters and scenes you can download for free, and you may buy more if you want. The account gave us our current statistics.īy default, Plotagons feature one scene with two characters, but you can change scenes and therefore characters as your story develops. Alternatively, we could log in using our Facebook credentials.
To make full use of the free animation software, we needed to create an account. The next window displayed “Welcome to Plotagon” message and gave us the option to either create an account or sign in. When we launched Plotagon, its window opened while displaying a large P-like icon at the center. The intuitive app is compatible with PC, Mac, iPad and iPhone, but this review focuses on the PC version. Plotagon makes it easy for anyone to create interesting stories with animations. It basically depends on the tool you are using. If you thought that making animated movies was difficult, then you may be right… up to a point.
